Sannox is always thinking of ways to raise funds for the club. This year, following the pattern of others, we shall be
hosting the Sannox 6s in the Ormidale Park in Brodick on Saturday July 3rd. Teams of all descriptions can enter.
So long as you have six members willing to have a go. Teams that have featured before include the Poets, Corrie
non-ladies, Corrie Ladies, The Emrgency Services, the Portly People. The knockout tournament lasts the full day 11am
till 7 or 8 pm. and in the past on one famous occasion had to be finished by the light of car headlamps. The final bowl-off
was a vignette from Apocalypse Now. Come along and watch, buy a burger, try the beat the bat, make yourself known to
the club. The annual dinner with associated awards ceremony, music, quiz and chat is open to everyone but especially
friends of the club. Our lay-membership scheme allows you to feel part of the life of a village cricket club no matter where
in the world you live. For a mere £10 per year we will invite you to meetings, dinners and keep you abreast
of fixtures and events. Sponsor a bat or helmet. Think of creative ways to contribute to our club and our club will always

Sannox have now held three New Year's day matches and thankfully the gods and the off license have been good to us
both times. Clear but cold weather has accompanied both matches with many visitors joining in. The hostess trolley, that last
year was heaving under the weight of every alcoholic beverage known to man, made it from the Ormidale Park to the Ormidale
Hotel, Corrie Hotel and was last seen in the Sannox Bay Hotel. Other stories about the club are legendary.
